Meet Bodie! The sweetest most affectionate boy that just wants a lot of love! Bodie loves people and is great with other dogs. He is good by himself left alone while at work during the day and has been fostered with another dog at home who he gets along great with. Knows basic command and sleeps inside on his dog bed. Follows commands and instructions from humans, looks back for approval on anything he does. At night and in the mornings just loves to have a cuddle and some affection and loves the dog park where he can play with other dogs. He even comes back on command off lead!

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.

 

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
