About Jam
*In foster care in Kensington, Sydney*
Jam (know fondly as Jammy) is a sweet little bat-looking kitty who loves play time with her her sister Toast and other cat friends! She's also partial to a social snooze with her foster humans, especially on their bed, and happily accepts face kisses as she's dozing off :)
While she's definitely an adventurer at heart, Jam takes an extra minute to suss the vibe before diving into shenanigans. At least, she *did* - until the Christmas tree went up! She quickly decided to join in the cheekiness this year, wasting no time knocking her chosen baubles to the floor to play with!
And if you’ve ever wanted to get a cat but have been held back by the thought of leaving them alone, Jam and her sister Toast might be the duo for you. They'll suit someone who maybe doesn’t spend as much time at home, as they have each other for company. Check out their joint profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1082511
Like all Maggie's pets, Jam is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have another cat or two for me to play with and love! Or maybe you'd like to take me home with my sister Toast?
I crave affection and companionship, so a solo person, couple or family who'll give me lots of play and snuggle time and help me grow up into a strong, confident cat would be purrfect!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: If I'm not racing around being a little mischief-maker, I'm snoozing in a cosy spot - ideally with my feline friend/s or next to you :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I'd enjoy living with cat-loving children who'll handle me gently, get to know what I like (and don't like) and play games with me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: At the moment I'm in foster care with my sister and two other older foster cats, and it's been awesome. I love, love, LOVE playing with my sister, and I've (occasionally) been able to jolly the old cats out of their grumpy moods too!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
