About Hero
Hero is the perfect kitten combination. She loves to play (with toys, with her siblings, with little bits of kitty litter - she's not fussy!) and she's also really friendly, and loves coming for a pat.
If you scoop her up, she purrs and purrs she's so happy to be in your arms.
Hero's mum got lucky, and when she was due to have her babies she walked into the house of a family who loved cats, and so she had her kittens in a loving and safe environment. So Hero and her siblings were around people from the moment they were born and so they're such friendly, healthy, lovely little kittens.
Hero is great with kids and other cats, but not so keen on dogs. But she's a kitten, so they tend to acclimatise pretty quickly to new things so with time we think she would be fine with a doggy friend.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
