About Puck
Puck was named after the mischievous fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He's really playful and also super friendly. He'll come up to pretty much anyone who comes into his foster home to say hello. He loves a pat from anyone he can get one from.
If you don't pay enough attention to him, he'll demand your attention. The mean teenager in the house likes to play a game with him where she ignores his pleas for attention until eventually he climbs up on to her shoulder and sticks his face in her face until she can't ignore him anymore. It's so funny to watch!
He will literally leap into your arms to get a cuddle. He's that insistent! And if you're sitting he heads straight for your lap.
Puck is good with kids, other cats and dogs. He takes everything in his stride.
He'd be perfect for any household, but he would be really great for a family where there are lots of people he can get cuddles from and play with.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
