About Barney
Meet Barney, an intelligent and affectionate 10-month-old bull Arab cross cattle dog, ready to fill your home with love and happiness. This young pup is brimming with energy and is as friendly as they come, making him a wonderful companion for both humans and animals alike. His kind nature extends to cats.
Barney's charming personality matches his impressive intellect. He enjoys learning and is eager to please, qualities that make him an excellent candidate for ongoing training and guidance. An energetic breed like Barney thrives with physical and mental stimulation, so he would benefit from an active lifestyle where he can engage in activities like obedience training, agility courses, or even just long walks and play sessions in the park.
While Barney is available for adoption starting January 2025, he is already dreaming about sharing countless happy moments with a new loving family. The perfect match for Barney is someone who can continue his training journey and provide him with ample love and attention. If you're looking for a loyal and intelligent companion who will thrive on positive reinforcement and love, Barney is your ideal new furry family member.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the BCDR Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at BCDR we will avoid. *
Supporting documents required ;
Real estate approval or home own proof .
