Hello! My name is Daisy Doo, and I’m searching for my forever home. I’ve been in foster care for 3 years now due to no fault of my own, you see, no one has ever come to meet me! Do you think you could change that for me?

Nature
I am a shy but sweet girl. I love spending my days watching the world go by from the top of the cat tower. I come down in mornings and evenings to say hello to my Foster Mum and demand some pats, but otherwise I prefer to keep to myself. I’m a very smoochy, affectionate girl - but only on my terms. If I don’t come down from my spot and ask for a pat, I may give you a cheeky tap with my paw to tell you to leave me alone if you try to touch me on the cat tower. My cat tower is my safe place after all!

My Foster Mum thinks I make an awesome house cat, and that I’ll thrive in a quiet home where I can get plenty of attention to myself. I haven’t had a very good life so far, living on the streets, then having babies, then living in a foster home with cats that were bullying me. I’ve been with my new foster home for a little while now and I do enjoy it here, but I know it’s not my forever home and I really think I deserve a forever home.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would prefer a home with no children. Older teens and adults would be perfect.

I’m very indifferent about cats, I enjoy hanging out with the other cats in my foster home, but I don’t actively need other cats around. I’d be happy to be your only feline friend, or I can definitely make friends with your other kitties too.

I live with a 50kg dog who I haven’t really interacted with, but I like to make squeaky noises at her through the window and cat gate. I think I could be fine with a very calm, cat-savvy dog if given a slow introduction.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food, dinner time is my favourite time of day (you can tell by looking at my belly!)

I dislike very fast movements towards my face, but I love pats otherwise and I’m getting braver.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, indoor only home with gentle humans who will give me time and space to settle in and come out of my shell, and spoil me with pats and yummy treats!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Daisy Doo please come and meet her at PETstock Baldivis this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical notes: Daisy Doo was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection. She did not show any symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
