About 10988 - Ennis
💚🧶 MEET ENNIS 🧶💚
Nature
Ennis is a sweet, cheeky and playful girl. She can be a little timid with new people but quickly comes out of her shell and playing is the key to her heart. She is not a lap cat but will follow you around and can always be found sitting close by gazing lovingly at you. She will let you know when her food bowl is empty, when she wants something and can be quite chatty and chirpy at times. This little girl has a lot of love to give.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Due to her condition, Ennis would not be suited to a household with other cats. She would best be suited to a home where she can roam freely on her own. She is currently untested with children, however she would likely do well with teens.
Likes / Dislikes
Ennis LOVES to play, she would play until she drops if you let her, she loves any toy that has a bell attached. She loves her cat tree and her favourite activity is watching the world from out the window. She loves any form of wet food but will eat pretty much anything and is pat friendly, chin scratches being a personal fave.
She strongly dislikes the evil vacuum cleaner but is slowly getting used to it. She is OK with being held but only for a few minutes before wanting to go off and explore again.
My PURR-fect home would be a quieter, mature home with no other pets or loud young children.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

10988 - Ennis
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Colour: Tabby
DOB: 12/01/2024
Adoption Fee: $0 due to medical notes
Ennis’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.
*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.
Medical Notes: Ennis has Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). FelV is a retrovirus that infects cats. FeLV transmission most commonly occurs through close, social contact. Contact with saliva from infected cats is a primary mode of transmission, because the concentration of virus is high in saliva. FeLV means that the cat’s immune system is compromised and the cat is more susceptible to other infections. Due to her FelV Ennis will need to be an inside only cat. She can only go to a home with no other cats, or with a cat that is already FelV positive.
Ennis previously had a UTI, she was treated for this and is no longer displaying any symptoms. Ennis will need to be monitored for any signs of difficulty urinating or blood in her urine in future. She may or may not require sporadic treatment for UTIs throughout her life, which may involve antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
