About Casey
Meet Casey: The Life of the Paw-ty!
A new arrival in the Village -Blue Heeler mix – 18 months old
Fully vetted - adoption fee 595 dollars
Interviewer: Welcome - Let’s start with the basics. What’s your new name, and how did you end up here?
Casey: Hi there! I'm Casey—no, not the one who won “Australian Idol,” but you might say I’m the canine version! I was #096 at the pound, but those days are behind me. I’ve traded in my impound number for a name that has way more sass.
Interviewer: Wow, Casey! What’s your story?
Casey: Well, let’s just say my past was a little ruff (get it?). I found myself in a bit of a pickle at the pound, but luckily, I got rescued just in time. Now I’m in foster care at Everton Park, where I can be the high-energy, energetic girl I was born to be—hopefully in a forever home soon.
Interviewer: So, what’s life like in foster care?
Casey: Pawesome! I get to sniff around the yard, follow my foster humans everywhere, and sometimes I even tuck myself away in my crate for some quality alone time. It’s kind of like a doggy spa!
Interviewer: And how do you do with visitors—strangers and other pups?
Casey: I’m on a quest to make new friends! I might put on a dramatic performance when I see other dogs on the street —think Shakespearean-level excitement —but I warm up pretty fast. You might say I have a few enthusiastic jumps and my signature move, the “Crocodile Air Snap.” Picture a puppy version of a cheerful little crocodile with a smile instead of a bite!
Interviewer: Sounds like you’ve got quite the personality! What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Casey: Oh, the real question is, what don’t I enjoy doing? I love chasing balls, joining in tug-o-war (I’m basically a champion), and soaking up as much affection as I can. But fair warning: I’m full of beans and can go from chill to a tiny tornado in seconds!
Interviewer: Any quirks we should know about?
Casey: not really – I do shed a little bit— but that’s a cattle dog specialty as is my love of herding – you won't lose anyone on my watch!
Interviewer: And what does your ideal forever home look like?
Casey: Honestly, I’d love a big backyard to stretch my legs and a family who’s around a lot. It would be pawsitively fabulous to have another dog my age and energy level to chase around! Somewhere that can keep me busy and keep up my training - I’m currently working on my “good dog” badge!
Interviewer: Lastly, how can someone adopt you?
Casey: Oh, it’s simple! Drop a detailed message to Village Tails and tell them about yourself. I’m ready to dive into a new adventure with my forever family—just as long as they can handle a bright and bubbly Cattle Dog like me.
Interviewer: Casey, you’re a superstar! Any final words for potential adopters?
Casey: Don’t leave me howling at the moon! Adopt, don’t shop, and let’s create some tail-wagging memories together! 🐾💖
