Nerida (aka Neri)

Nerida’s personality: Nerida (aka Neri) is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly friendly—her heart is as big as her playful spirit. Intelligent and well-mannered, she knows basic commands like sit, drop, and shake. She loves chasing a ball and bringing it back, with an adorable skip in her step that’ll melt your heart. She walks beautifully on a leash, keeps her kennel clean, and is eager to please.

Nerida’s ideal forever home: Neri is toilet trained and absolutely loves attention and affection. She would be in heaven in a home where she has plenty of company and can join in on all the household activities. Neri loves people, so she would be happy in a family home or with her own dedicated human. She seems to be wary or perhaps even fearful of other doggies at first, but as soon as she sees they are not a threat, she is playful and submissive, using all the correct doggy language to show she wants to play. She walks well alongside her kennel mates and has a huge crush on her neighbour, Hank!

Nerida’s story: Neri came to us from Port Macquarie Animal Shelter, where she had been for approximately six weeks before coming to Sweet Pea. We don’t know anything about her past, except that her family let her down, as they didn’t come to collect her from the pound.
