Tortia may be 12 years old, but don’t let his age fool you—this charming senior is truly young at heart! With a zest for life and a wagging tail that never quits, Tortia is on the lookout for a loving family to share his golden years with.

When you meet Tortia, his joyful attitude will melt your heart. Despite having faced some tough times, including arriving in rescue completely matted and needing all his fur shaved off, this resilient boy has embraced his new beginning with boundless positivity. He also had to undergo dental surgery to remove 13 teeth, but Tortia hasn’t let that slow him down one bit. His spirit is as bright as ever, and he’ll happily greet each day with enthusiasm.

Tortia’s favourite activities include going on walks and adventures with his humans. He loves exploring the world around him. He’s also a dream traveller and absolutely amazing in the car—road trips, anyone? After a day of fun, Tortia is ready to snuggle up in bed with his foster mom, where he sleeps soundly through the night. This sweet boy truly loves being close to his humans and thrives on their companionship.

While Tortia currently lives with three other doggy friends and a group of cats, he’s more of a people-focused pup. He doesn’t interact much with his furry housemates, preferring to spend his time basking in the love and attention of his human family. Because of this, Tortia would do best in a home where someone is around during the day to keep him company.
