About Cosmopolitan
Meet Cosmopolitan, or "Cosmo" for short! This sweet, energetic 8-month-old pup is a loving mix of Kelpie and Border Collie, which means he's got a lot of intelligence, drive, and heart. Cosmo is always on the move, whether it's playing with his favorite toys, running around in the yard, or learning new tricks. He's incredibly social and loves spending time with people and other dogs. His agility and enthusiasm make him a joy to have around.
Young Cosmos has unfortunately not been exposed to alot of things in this big wide world and is learning to deal with new interactions and gaining more confidence, with time and patience, Cosmo will be definition of a happy-go-lucky dog. He's playful, affectionate, and full of energy, making him the perfect companion for an active individual or family. Whether he's chasing after a ball or snuggling on the couch after a long day, he is always eager to be by your side. A sharp mind and eagerness to please make him highly trainable. Cosmo loves being mentally stimulated, so puzzle toys or agility courses are always a hit with him.
Cosmo needs a loving home in which to thrive, with plenty of attention and interaction. He loves being the center of attention but also enjoys quiet cuddle time with his favorite humans.
To book a meet and greet with Cosmopolitan please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
