❤️ Introducing Rubin ❤️

Rubin is a very easy going older boy who just fits in. At 10 years old, he knows to go with the flow. If you’re sleeping in, he sleeps in too. If you are getting up early he just follows what everyone else is doing. When you wake up he’s so happy to see you and will be even happier if he gets a morning belly rub.

Rubin loves people and any affection on offer. He is on the larger side at 33kg but that doesn’t stop him attempting to climb on your lap. He previously lived with small children and was fine with them.

Rubin LOVES his walks; when he sees the lead he gets so excited and runs to the gate! He is very good on the lead, doesn’t pull, just walks nicely and loves a sniff. He is very gentle with his treats and polite with his meals, sitting beautifully until it’s time to eat. He also enjoys a car ride and sniff out the window.

At home, Rubin is a pleasure to have around. He loves a nice comfy bed, and will be happy to just hang out with his person or family. Equally, he is fine when left alone and gets so excited when you get home. Rubin is toilet trained and happily sleeps through the night without a peep.

Rubin is great with other dogs, mostly just happy to co-exist with them, being a bit old for playing. He is not good with felines though. Rubin can get a little spooked by unfamiliar noises but comes around easily with encouragement.

Rubin is just looking for a retirement home with someone to love him, take him for walks and watch a movie with. He will need some good food, and some supplements to help keep his joints supple, and someone who commits to walking him regularly. He would be happy living with another dog or without.
