About Snowy
Meet Snowy, a charming 14 yearold Chihuahua who is ready to find his forever home! This golden oldie thrives on companionship and adores being with his humans, ideally someone who is home most days. Snowy is a gentle and adaptable soul who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is cat friendly. He enjoys leisurely walks and is well behaved on a lead. With good basic obedience and housetraining, he would make a well mannered addition to any household. He will happily take himself outside for a wee as long as he can get in/out as he pleases. Snowy is happiest in a calm, cozy indoor environment and would be best suited to a quiet home, perhaps with an older person or someone who can provide him with a peaceful and nurturing environment.
As a senior gentleman, Snowy does have some ongoing medical needs. He has a level 4 heart murmur requiring daily medications, including Vetmedin and Frusemide, which cost approximately $4 per day ($120 per month), along with regular veterinary monitoring. Snowy also has dental disease / plaque build up which is not a surprise given his age - this is best managed through regular brushing, dental chews and monitoring. To help with his transition, Snowy will come with a one-month supply of his medications as part of his adoption package. Adopting Snowy means providing him with the love, attention, and medical care he needs in his golden years, and he is ready to bring joy and companionship to the right home.-
