About Peacock
The most famous and recognizable of all the ornamental birds is a peacock, with its striking plumage, impressive display and sheer size for a bird that can fly these avian jewels demand your awe and respect... Just like our gorgeous boy here, also coincidentally named Peacock.
With the striking prowess of his avian counterparts, our feline friend is quite the show off, very handsome and with distinct and flamboyant features there is no better way to describe this impressive being.
Looking to add some flair, affection, hilarity and something fancy to your life... Look no further.. This is the cat for you.
Seeking a home in which to shine, with or without other pets, Peacock would love an active home environment in which he can grow and flare his many talents and special personality.
Passing his medical and behavior testing with FLYING colors (pun intended) this boy is now ready to meet his new people and start his new life as the flashiest cat in town.
To book a meet and greet with Peacock please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
