Hi there, I'm Misty! I’m a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a soft, sweet nature, but I wasn’t always this way. When I first came to the shelter, I was pretty scared and nervous—everything was so new and overwhelming. It took me a while to feel safe and start trusting the people around me, but now I’m ready to find my forever home.

I’m still a little shy at first, and I’ll need an experienced cat owner who understands that I might take some time to adjust to new things. Sometimes, I need a quiet space to feel comfortable, and I’ll let you know when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I do best in calm environments with people who can be patient with me and give me the time I need to show my true, affectionate side.

I’d prefer a home with no young children, as I find that a bit too much to handle right now. Once I get to know you, I’ll show you just how sweet and loving I can be. I’m looking for someone who can give me a gentle, peaceful space where I can continue to grow and bloom. If you think you’re the right person to help me, I can’t wait to meet you!
