About Flynn
This smart, resourceful, gentle soul is Flynn, a handsome 'bubble boy' looking to head back to his rural heartland after a stint in the bustling burbs.
Flynn is a gentle introvert who grew up in the country, spending weekends exploring the bush and beach with his favourite person. Adventuring together by day and relaxing at home together over a good meal by night, Flynn thrived as the canine partner of a doggo-human duo of young country boys.
More recently, Flynn's family grew and he moved with his favourite people to a bustling beach town. Flynn has tried his best to adapt to a beach-going, café on Sundays, life with an ever-growing number of friends and experiences. It's fair to say though that this intelligent, gentle soul has found bustling beach culture just a bit too much, and his heart yearns to return to the quiet, country life he loved so much.
With his highly intelligent, quirky nature, Flynn makes an amazing companion for anyone looking for a sensitive, intelligent furry best friend. He is crate-trained, house-trained, and thrives in a structured routine mixed with rural and remote adventures with his favourite people.
He loves to swim and is equally happy joining you in the paddock or on the couch. As long as he has company more often than not and is allowed to join in, when he is feeling brave and adventurous, he is happy. When you’re away, he’s perfectly content to nap quietly in his crate until you return, greeting you with his signature loyalty and joy.
While he is fast friends with several well matched dogs, and enjoys the opportunity to let it all hang loose with his mates, Flynn will shine best in an only dog home with adults who understand that he just wants a simple life, for a simple lad.
No dog parks or daycare parties for this boy though, as he finds strangers a bit overwhelming and would really just rather stay home or go fishing!
Flynn's expressive ears will tell you exactly how he’s feeling, and when he just needs a bit of comfort, he will happily take himself to bed and cuddle his toys.
If you’re a country soul looking for a loyal and adorable shadow to be your furry little wingman, right by your side, and ready to show affection in his quiet, endearing way, Flynn might just be the one for you.
Enquirers will also have the opportunity to learn more about Flynn's wonderful personality and ask any questions they may have during a pre-adoption tele-consult with our Program Behaviour Specialist.
Flynn is located in Thirroul, NSW, 2515

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
