Dora

Introducing the one and only Dora!! Dora is a beautiful senior cat searching for her retirement home and a loving family.

Dora came into our care as a stray and has had some rest-and-relaxation in foster care before coming back to the shelter for adoption.

Dora has done a wonderful job in foster care. Here is what her foster carer had to say:

"Dora is the sweetest girl who just wants to be near/snuggle with her person. Sometimes she needs a little encouragement to come up for cuddles but once she's there will sleep next to you purring softly.

She also likes to sit in the window and have a little bit of playtime with you. She is fairly confident and very well-behaved and uses the cat tree to scratch and use the kitty litter.

She is ok with my cat and they are even starting to play a little but she would prefer to be the only cat or at least with one that's much more independent than mine and will let her relax in peace. She has clearly been in a loving home before and around other cats.

Dora would be the perfect companion for someone who is home a lot in a quiet
household. She is fine on her own all day as well though. She is not a picky eater. She also has the cutest little pink paws. It will be a lucky family that adopts her."
