ABOUT
Oriana is a beautiful sunny girl who is happy to see you, often trilling or giving little chirps in greeting and asking for pats and snuggles. If she hasn’t seen you in a while or it’s meal time she might take a more nagging tone, but a cuddle or her bowl of food will quickly fix that. She’s happily scooped and slung over your shoulder for a snuggle purring her heart out for your welcome home snuggle. She’ll often be a ‘loosey goosey’ ‘limp noodle’ relaxed and purring away when she’s slung over your shoulder. She’ll give a little wriggle, stretch, or noise when she wants down or isn’t in the mood for a pick up snuggle and give clear signs when she wants to be left alone. Oriana is great at bed cuddles and often wakes her carer up with a trill as she jumps up to gently head butt her carers face before she’s pulled in and snuggled like a teddy bear - She’ll happily purr away or stretch and settle for a snooze with you.
Only a few years old, Oriana is still half a kitten at heart, and is often up for a came with the toy on the end of a string, she’ll jump and bat at it and is pretty good at catching it, she thinks.
Oriana came into care pregnant, and has been a great mama to her little girl group, but it’s now time for her to find her very own home. As her bubs were weaned, she started to be introduced to the other cats in her foster home and the resident large dog. She doesn’t mind the smell of them at all - happy to snuggle in the dog’s bed even! - but wasn’t happy to see other cats and really didn’t like seeing or hearing the dog. We’ve taken it slow and exposed her to other animals but still kept separate, but she is still not a fan of either other cats or dogs. Oriana would be happiest as your one and only cat/dog. Oriana isn’t tested with children, but with her confidence would likely not be overly bothered by them in her home. However Oriana would need cat savvy kids that can read the signs of when she wants cuddles and when she wants to be left alone/has had enough as she can get annoyed when these signs aren’t respected.
Oriana is confident and explores her space straight away, but can be a little overwhelmed and grumpy with strangers at first or in new spaces. But once she settles in she is the sweetest bestest cuddly girl.
