About Nixon
Hello, world! Meet Nixon, or as we like to address him, Mr Purrrsident.
Nixon is the definition of a gentle giant; we’re convinced most of his mass is made up by his enormous heart. With his kind nature and calm demeanor he quickly won over his feline foster-siblings, as well as qny human that is lucky enough to cross paths with him. He has a purr that could put a steam engine to shame and revs it lovingly for anyone willing to offer some scratches, pats or gentle forehead kisses.
Nixon has made light work of making himself feel at home; he loves sleeping on the bed and will allow for some serious overnight snuggles. He has found every comfy corner, soft bed or sunny spot to nap in. He also enjoys safe outdoor time in our outdoor enclosure so would suit a home willing to offer him safe outdoor time, either in an enclosed space or on a leash!
Nixon has an extremely gentle nature and has done an excellent job of winning over our permanent residents; he’d be suitable to live with another gentle cat.
Despite his overall quiet demeanor, Nixon definitely has his fun moments too. A pingpong ball, some catnip or anything cat toy resembling will send him into a shortlived burst of youthful energy. He’s definitely a big baby at heart and loves playing. Our kibble-puzzle also posed no issue to him; he’s a smart cookie!
As much as we love having him, we’d love nothing more than for Nixon to find his forever home. He is a truly radiant soul with lots of love to give.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.fosterkittensofmelbourne.org/adopt
2. The relevant foster carer will be in touch with you within a few days if they would like to progress further with your application
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
