About Ella
Meet Ella, the gorgeous and curious canine who's on a mission to explore the world with her new family. With her strikingly beautiful appearance and spirited personality, Ella is sure to capture your heart. She's a friendly soul who is well-loved by everyone she meets. Though she may seem a bit reserved at first, you'll quickly discover her playful and adventurous nature once she bonds with you.
Ella thrives in an active lifestyle that allows her to explore new places and engage with her surroundings. She absolutely delights in the company of humans and cherishes affection. Her intelligence is one of her defining traits, making her a quick learner who picks up new tricks with ease. Ella is fond of going on walks and loves the gentle thrill of her adventures, making her an excellent fit for an active household searching for a four-legged travel buddy.
She could easily live in an apartment or a small yard, as she prefers exploring walks over zoomies. Ella is perfectly content around children over the age of five. Her ideal living situation could be as an only dog, though she wouldn't mind sharing a home with a medium or large doggy friend to show her the world. She's still honing her social skills with other breeds but acclimates well over time once she knows the dog.
Ella isn't a big fan of water or baths, but she will tolerate them when necessary. Crates and confined spaces aren't her cup of tea, either, so she thrives best with room to roam in your home. Thankfully, she's a fantastic traveller who loves car rides, and she always brings her passion for collecting little treasures from her environment into her playtime.
If you're looking for an intelligent, adventurous companion who brings warmth, curiosity, and love into your life, Ella is waiting to become the loyal friend you've been seeking. Together, you can explore the world and create a life filled with cuddles and happy memories.

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.
Step 2: Return the completed application form to Anna Rogers. Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in. This is so we can assess your property as safe and suitable for a greyhound and match you to the dog that best suits your environment/lifestyle.
Step 3: We will match you with the dog best suited to your situation and lifestyle.
Step 4: A meet in greet will occur with all family members including any existing pet dogs. If everyone gets along and the application is successful, the dog will then be collected at an agreed later date.
Step 5: Collect the dog and shower them with love!
All the greyhounds up for adoption are desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated. The dogs also have had regular dental checks and cleans.
