About Vader
Meet Vader, the lovable goofball who's ready to bring joy and laughter into your life! This friendly and curious pup is the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back sweetness. While his name might remind us of a famous galactic icon, Vader's heart is firmly set on being the master of affection and cuddles in your world.
Vader is an early riser, bursting with energy in the morning, only to transform into a snoozy couch potato by afternoon. His love for walks is evident, and although he can display a bit of pep in his step when he first leaves the house, he quickly settles into a gentle pace. You might notice his spacial awareness is a work in progress—as this eager pup sometimes knocks things over or runs into objects without realizing.
Vader's engaging and sociable nature makes him a great companion for families, particularly those with children over 8 years old, as he sometimes gets so excited that he may unintentionally topple over young kids with his affectionate jumps. He's just as enthusiastic about making doggy friends and is comfortable with canines of all sizes, making him quite adaptable whether he's the only dog or sharing his space with a furry sibling.
All Vader needs is a small yard for his morning adventures and to feel confident in his new family home. With a little guidance and routine, you'll help him master the galactic art of being a lazy couch potato! Are you ready to welcome this sweet, quiet, and loving dog into your home? Vader is eagerly waiting to be your future sidekick.

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.
Step 2: Return the completed application form to Anna Rogers. Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in.
