About Jock
Jock is a playful, energetic, friendly, affectionate and loving boy. He adores people and everyone he meets. He will snuggle in for a pat but doesn't get too pushy into your space.
He enjoys exploring new places and going for walks or a short zoomie. But once that is done, he will curl up and lay on his bed for the rest of the day. He walks very well on lead and does get excited to go for walks. He will do excited zoomies around you but will not jump on you. He loves water and will want a paddle pool to lay in on hot days or a visit to the beach. He does enjoy playing with toys, but don't expect them to be brought back to you.
He is muzzle exempt and is good with dogs of all sizes. He just doesn't like high energy dogs right in his face, so he will try and avoid them if possible. He could live alone or with a calm doggy friend.
He is cat trainable and has lived with cats for a short period but will need basic manners training (i.e., no pushing or chasing the cats to play) to live long term with them.
He could live in an apartment or small yard but does still need some stair training.
Children we recommend 8+ as he likes pats but not hugs and that bit quieter lifestyle. However, he is fine around younger children for pats but doesn't want to live with them long term.
Could you be Jock new forever friend?
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Stopped racing due to an upper groin tare.
Has had regular dental cleans.

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.
Step 2: Return the completed application form to Anna Rogers. Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in. This is so we can assess your property as safe and suitable for a greyhound and match you to the dog that best suits your environment/lifestyle.
Step 3: We will match you with the dog best suited to your situation and lifestyle.
Step 4: A meet in greet will occur with all family members including any existing pet dogs. If everyone gets along and the application is successful, the dog will then be collected at an agreed later date.
Step 5: Collect the dog and shower them with love!
