Motley's a bit of a slow burner when it comes to making new friends - he takes his time to warm up to people, but once he does, you'll have a loyal and affectionate best friend for life! Motley loves to sunbake in the recreation yard, relaxing by your side and snoozing in the sun. He's independent and enjoys doing his own thing, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want love and attention. He just prefers to get it on his terms, and with patience and a bit of time, you'll earn his trust and love. He would be a great fit for anyone looking for a laid back, independent and well- mannered dog.

This fun, chill guy is best suited to a single-dog household where he can be the star of the show. Motley isn't bothered by other dogs and is quite tolerant, but he's not exactly looking for a canine BFF. He's got all the love you need right here - no doggy pals necessary! He'll do best with primary school-aged kids who are familiar with larger dogs, as they'll know how to respect his space while also enjoying his company.

Motley's perfect home will have good, secure fencing to keep him safe while he enjoys his independence. He's not much of a "runner," but he likes to have the space to roam and relax in peace.
