About Poppy
Meet Poppy, a sweet and gentle Cavalier King Charles who steals hearts with her quiet charm and soulful eyes. At two and a half years old, this lovely girl has a gentle disposition, making her the ideal companion for serene households. Her true personality shines as she becomes comfortable, blossoming into a loyal and affectionate friend who craves snuggles and enjoys the occasional pat.
Poppy is great with other dogs of her size and isn't fazed by cats. She adores her canine buddies and delights in their company, trotting happily alongside them on gentle walks. While initially reserved, Poppy rewards patience with her genuine warmth and soft snuggles. This little girl is seeking a peaceful home environment where she can gradually come out of her shell and thrive with lots of love and care.
If you're looking for an affectionate pup who flourishes in a tranquil setting and enjoys the company of other pets, Poppy is ready to be your faithful companion. Embrace this quiet, loving girl, and you'll gain a devoted friend for life.
Medical notes
Poppy had a dental with multiple extractions. She also had bilateral otitis externa. Neptra applied to both ears by vet to treat. Monitor closely. She also had an umbilical hernia repaired at the time of desexing
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
