About Pippy
Meet Pippy, a beautiful 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart as gentle as her expressive eyes. She's a sweet, shy girl who may initially seem timid, but once she gets to know you and feels comfortable in her surroundings, you'll witness her blossoming personality come alive—and it's worth the wait!
Pippy is great with other dogs her own size, making her a delightful companion for a household with similar-sized canine buddies. With cats, she's a bit apprehensive, so a cat-free home might be the best fit for this sensitive soul. She's a stimulus barker, which means she can be a bit vocal when her surroundings change, but with patient guidance, she can learn to adjust.
A typical day for Pippy includes a slow and steady introduction to new environments, where she can gradually come out of her shell and reveal her playful side. As an added bonus, she is a wonderful potential playmate for matching dogs.
Pippy thrives in calm, understanding environments where her new family can provide her with lead training and help her grow into a more confident dog. With consistency and love, she'll gain the confidence a good collar, leash, and owner provide.
Pippy's ideal home is one where she can build trust, practice lead training, and embrace her newfound confidence, so please reach out if you have the same needs.
Medical notes
Pippy had a dental with multiple extractions. She also had bilateral otitis externa. Neptra applied to both ears by vet to treat. Monitor closely.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
