Meet Jalapeño - Our Spicy Little Bean!

Jalapeño, or "Jala" as we like to call her, is a 1-year-old young mother who came to Wat Djerring Animal Facility with her four kittens. Now that her kittens have found homes, it's Jala's turn to start her own journey to a loving forever home.

Life hasn't been easy for Jala-she's likely spent much of her early life on the streets. Because of this, she's still learning to trust humans and can be a bit nervous. That's why we're searching for an experienced rescue family or cat-savvy individual who understands feline behavior. With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, Jala will have the time and space she needs to blossom into a confident, happy cat.

Once Jala gets to know you, she's a sweetheart who enjoys a good butt scratch and loves to settle in close. Seeing her grow more comfortable and trusting will be an incredibly rewarding experience for her new family.
