About Marty
Marty is a gentle, soft Cav/Cavoodle fellow who LOVES attention! He adores everyone, is very outgoing and is just a lovely sweet character who enjoys following you everywhere as much as having a cuddle. Marty doesn’t have a nasty bone in his body and will make the most beautiful family dog!
Even though he has a bit of filling out to do, Marty is a smallish chap and will be a great size for a young family. He loves the outdoors and gets along beautifully with other dogs.
Marty has a lovely, glossy black/brown slightly curly coat (low shedding) and may need grooming in the warmer months to keep him comfortable once he’s an adult. He is in a crate at night with no issues, happily toileting in the morning outside after being let out. He would need some more toilet training to be inside full-time, but he's well on the way and is showing all the right signs.
Marty is a fab size to be an active family member- easy to take anywhere, no anti-social behaviours to stress about and just generally hassle free. He won't need a strict or laborious exercise regime either.. out and about with you and following his people around the house or in the garden will be plenty.
Marry wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks, birds or other pocket pets given his small size and age- he'll quickly learn your routines and expectations. He is fantastic with kids of all ages.
If you can offer Marty a kind and loving home please send an enquiry through via PetRescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
** Marty’s paperwork has him listed as a Cavoodle and his mum is 1/4 mini poodle- but he and his sister Emma, look very much like straight Cavaliers but don’t shed nearly as much fur!!
Medical notes
Marty is in excellent health and is booked for vet work, including desexing on the 13/12. He will be available to pick up after this date.
He has been vaccinated, flea/tick treated and wormed.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer a dog.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
Please also let us know where the dog will sleep and if it will be welcomed inside.
