Meet George: He is a shy but smoochy boy but once comfortable enjoys his treats. Allow George time to settle prior to allowing him to explore the rest of the house as he can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. We recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that George will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before he shows his true self! A home with older children or teens please as they will be able to read/ understand basic cat body language and know when to give George space. George came into care with a large number of other cats: he does seem to seek comfort from other cats and may benefit going home with another cat. He may also do okay in a home with a calm social dog if owners are able to monitor interactions.
