About Majo
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Majo sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Majo, a captivating feline companion who is as large in personality as he is in charm. He’s a gentle giant with a heart full of love and an appetite to match.
Majo loves showing his affection by snuggling near you or stretching out to proudly display his belly. While he's not the stereotypical lap cat, he will be perfectly content snuggling by your feet or beside you, providing the perfect amount of companionship and warmth.
Highly adaptable Majo would fit into almost any home. Access to the outdoors would be an added bonus, allowing Majo to indulge his adventurous side by exploring his surroundings.
Majo’s personality is playful, calm, and highly intelligent. He thrives on human interaction and shows his affection with insistent meows and cheek rubs when you forget to give him the attention he craves.
With his inquisitive nature, Majo takes a moment to observe before engaging with unfamiliar faces. His innate friendliness always wins out, and once he's comfortable, he'll weave between your legs and rub his cheek against you, cementing friendships with his gentle charm.
He's also known for being quite the entertainer, especially during his 7 PM play sessions, where he gleefully chases his beloved plastic ball. Add that to his midday naps in sunlit patches, and you have a day filled with delightful antics.

Medical notes
Majo has had several teeth removed due to gingivitis. This does not affect his ability to eat or live life to the fullest. His patient history can be forwarded to his adopter's vet clinic to ensure continuity of care.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
