About Poppet
Introducing Poppet! This sweet and timid girl is a total foodie with a love for learning! Poppet is highly trainable, and her enthusiasm for treats will have her wagging her tail a million miles an hour. She absolutely loves all toys, especially small, soft squeaky ones, and spends her days hoarding and relocating them. Fetch is one of her favorite games, and she'll enthusiastically run back when called, making her a fun and playful companion!
Poppet thrives in a calm, structured environment and would do best in a home with a companion dog to help her feel secure. She's a little shy at first, so gradual and careful introductions to new dogs (and cats) are key. Poppet is also working through some separation anxiety and would be best suited to a part-time worker or someone who works from home, with a consistent routine to help her manage.
An experienced dog owner is preferred, especially someone who is familiar with or willing to work with timid dogs. Patience and understanding will go a long way in helping Poppet feel safe and confident in her new home. She would do well in a household with older, dog-savvy children who can respect her space and help her build trust.
This loving and gentle girl would benefit from a patient, experienced dog owner-especially someone familiar with timid dogs. Poppet will thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can respect her space. If you're looking for a sensitive and sweet companion who will bond deeply with her family, Poppet could be the perfect fit for you!
