Introducing Roxy, a sweet Westie with a heart full of love and a youthful spirit that belies her age. At 14 years young, Roxy is a loving female companion who still brings a wagging tail and boundless joy to every day. Weighing in at 15kgs, this Westie is the perfect size for snuggles and companionship.
Roxy is looking for a new family to share her golden years with. She's desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, so she's all set to transition smoothly into your home. While she hasn't been tested with cats, Roxy is best suited as the only dog in the household, where she can bask in the sole limelight of affection. She's great with children who are over ten years old, making her an ideal fit for families with older kids who understand the tenderness and care an experienced dog like Roxy deserves.
Her spirited nature shines through as she trots by your side, exploring the world with the curiosity of a puppy. A standard fence will do just fine, ensuring her safety without stifling her sense of adventure. Her location in Yeronga makes her readily accessible for those nearby who feel the call of her charming presence. Roxy's adoption fee is $395, a small token for the joy and companionship she offers.
If you're ready to welcome a loving, playful, and loyal friend into your home, Roxy is eager to be your cherished companion, bringing her warmth and happiness to your life. Don't miss the chance to add this sweet Westie to your family!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
