Meet Dashi, the delightful greyhound whose calm and serene presence has charmed everyone who meets her. Dashi is such a laid-back companion. Whether you live in a cozy apartment or a spacious house, she will effortlessly adapt to her surroundings. She enjoys occasional spins around the garden, but she truly relishes indoor comfort, lounging peacefully alongside her fellow greyhounds in her current foster home.
Dashi is a wonderful blend of social and independent, showcasing her relaxed disposition beautifully. She has been left alone for extended periods with other dogs and has proven to be content and untroubled when her human companions are away. Although she hasn't experienced extended solo time without canine company just yet, her adaptable nature suggests she might handle it well.
When it comes to interactions with people, Dashi exudes warmth and friendliness, though she occasionally expresses her enthusiasm with a joyful little jump. This sweet girl loves being around people, and her perfect lead manners make city strolls and walks around town a pleasurable adventure. While generally unfazed by traffic, her curious nature sometimes gets the best of her, resulting in gentle barks at passing planes.
Dashi exhibits no resource guarding or sleep startle, making her a fantastic companion for experienced and novice dog owners alike. Pieces of her heartwarming personality show in her gentle, happy presence at home, coupled with her ability to hold her toileting through the night.

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual during Covid)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
