About Snowy
Snowy is a young blue heeler, who has a fun, energetic and playful personality. Unfortunately he has not coped too well moving from the quiet outback, to the middle of Brunswick. Snowy gets very overwhelmed by people, traffic and noise. Snowy would thrive in an experienced dog home, with someone who can guide him through his fears. He has never shown any reactivity or aggression, he just gets fearful and stops doing anything. He has stayed with two different trainers, and has quickly learned to find his confidence in the presence of a confident owner. His current home is a very busy environment, which makes it hard for both the family and Snowy to succeed with training and confidence building.
Snowy is great with other dogs, and loves children of all ages. He has had very limited interaction with cats, but didn’t show any particular interest when he did.
The ideal family would be someone who has a fair bit of experience with working dogs and have the time to continue on with his socialisation, confidence building and learning to settle a little better around new people.
His new adopters will receive a free Zoom consult with Stian from Beautiful Beasts dog training, to help get everyone on the same page.
Available for interstate adoption at own expense.
