About Montie
*In foster care in Woollahra, Sydney*
Meet sweet Montie!
Along with this three brothers, Montie was left at the vet when he was just two weeks old, but the lot of them are now a cheeky, rambunctious bunch who've taken to domestic life like ducks to water :)
Montie is both a chatterbox and a total extravert - he absolutely LOVES being the centre of attention! While he's on the go most of the time, he also adores snuggling with his brothers and snoozing on his foster humans' chests. He's definitely a people person and falls asleep in the funniest positions after a big play!
He's a mad foodie too, quite literally screaming in your face when he's hungry. He'll scream at you when you’re preparing his food and scream at you when you’re putting it down. As for treats? Don't get us started!
Although Montie is an independent lad by nature, he's smitten with his brother Myles - so if you're looking to add two cats to your family, these brothers together are the perfect pair! Take a peek at Myles' profile here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1082502
Like all Maggie's pets, Montie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a social guy who craves affection and company, so I'd benefit from having someone home most of the time! Maybe you work from home or part-time, or you're retired?
I'm really keen to have a feline friend to grow old with too :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: In a typical day I like to mix it up with loads of frantic play, followed by a long sleep somewhere cosy. While I'm playing I'm not a fan of being picked up, but I love napping as close to my humans as possible!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Very loud noises can make me nervous, but aside from that, I've enjoyed playing with all the children I've met so far.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are great! They're not always as enthusiastic as me about making friends, but I don't let that put me off.
Though I've never met a dog face-to-face, I did live with one in my last foster home and knowing/hearing he was there didn't faze me!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
