About Titus
Name: Titus
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 14/06/2022
Breed: DMH
Colour: Dark silver tabby
Location: Craigmore
Titus might seem like he’s full of red flags, but he’d tell you he’s just a little complicated. He has a unique way of showing his feelings—often hissing to express his displeasure, only to turn around and demand pats. Just when you think you’ve figured him out, he keeps you on your toes. Will he hiss again? Won’t he? That’s the enigma of Titus.
Affectionately dubbed a “swear bear” by the vets, Titus is all bark and no bite. During his overnight admission, he hissed his way through every interaction but allowed himself to be picked up, examined, and cared for without any real protest. He didn’t even try to escape when given the chance! That said, his belly is a classic trap—approach those tempting tummy pats at your own risk.
Underneath the theatrics, Titus is a loving and cheeky boy who’s slowly letting his true personality shine. Lately, he’s spending more time rolling around, headbutting, and demanding pats than trying to scare people away with his hisses.
Titus’s behaviour isn’t about being a red flag—it’s about feeling unsure and scared in a world that’s changed so much for him. He struggles with change (don’t we all?) and is still finding his footing in a new and unfamiliar environment.
Titus will thrive in a quiet home where he can have his own private space to decompress and build trust at his own pace. He’s a bit of a fixer-upper, but the rewards of earning his trust are worth it. With patience and love, you’ll see the affectionate, playful side of Titus bloom.
He cannot be homed with dogs, and it’s likely that a dog-free environment will help him feel much more comfortable from the get-go. If you’re willing to give Titus the time and space he needs, he’ll repay you with endless charm, cheek, and love. Could Titus be the perfect project for your heart?
People describe me as: Complicated, handsome, fixer-upper.
How am I with dogs? Absolutely not, cats are the superior species and I don't want to share my home with them. Hiss!
How am I with cats? I haven't meet any
How am I with kids? I haven't meet any, I would be okay with teens but please no little ones.
My purrfect home is: Somewhere I am loved (and love is patient, and love is kind)
