About Daisy *On Trial*
*daisy is currently trialling her new home* daisy is such a friendly, adorable pup!!! she and her sister, maisy, were found wandering the streets of mildura. We've found a wonderful home for maisy so now its daisy's turn - will her forever home be with you???
daisy or “little ears” as we affectionately call her, is a healthy, happy normal pup who enjoys cuddles and attention. She looks more shar pei than her sister and even has groovy purple spots on her tongue, though she has a lovely soft almost curly coat which isn’t at all like a pei’s typical sandpapery feeling fur. As you can see from her video daisy gets along well with her carers own mini-daschund as well as sam the lab x (who’s also available for adoption) – daisy even gets along with the family cat! daisy is terrific with children having spent her first weeks in care with a 2 and a 4 year old child who almost loved her and maisy “to death” and carried them around everywhere. Daisy is now in care with older children and really enjoys their company too, especially snuggles on the couch at night. Daisy is such a funny little character!
it’s hard to tell daisy’s size from her photos as she looks quite large in them but she only weighs approximately 10-12kgs and is nearly fully grown so will end up being on the small side of medium; say english staffy size. As daisy is still a puppy she will require ongoing obedience training and socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. While in care she will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and she’s already mastered walking on a lead and enjoys getting out and about exploring the world. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep daisy stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. Daisy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
