About Vogue
If you are looking for a lot of dog in a small package then you need to check out Vogue. This little girl is currently living on some property in the Southern Highlands and is absolutely loving life. Vogue loves a good ride around on the quad bike and would be the type of dog who would happily travel on a motorbike or bicycle with you. She is a fun little dog who loves to run around the farm doing zoomies and playing with her friends. She fits right in with the large dogs who come for farm day trips with her foster carer. Her love of life and fun is just infectious, and you can’t help but smile at the joy she has.
Vogue (small tan dog in photos) came into care with her mother (the scruffy terrier type in the photos) and before coming into care had not had the best exposure or experiences with people. It takes her a little wile to trust but as soon as she does, Vogue is a shadow and will be your loving and loyal companion, always by your side. She is super cuddly and would like nothing more than to snuggle up under the doona with you in the bed or on the couch with you. Vogue is not confident with being picked up in the beginning and has gained confidence in her foster home as she has been allowed to try and do everything by herself. She will even hop into a carry bag by herself which makes it easy to take her out and about with you!
Her new owner will need to understand that she is not the type of dog who will quickly warm to visitors to the home. She is going to be better suited to a quieter home environment and possibly being able to have a safe area to be in when you do have visitors. Vogue will also need an adult only home as she will find children too overwhelming. She has made so much progress in her foster home including walking nicely on the lead and sticking nearby when out in the paddocks. Vogue is crate trained and sleeps there quietly throughout the night. She also travels really well in the car and would love to accompany her new person out on errands and on trips. Vogue would love to live with a really outdoorsy person who would go on fun adventures with her like camping or hiking. She may even like van life!
Vogue is extremely social with other dogs once she gets to know them. Initially she is nervous so needs to get to know a dog in order to feel safe. Once she makes friends, she really bonds with them, and they will become her bestie. Vogue will not do well going to dog parks where she is always meeting unknown dogs. She is better suited to having her own group of friends that she can go on walks with and have playdates on the regular.
We are looking for a home for Vogue with someone who is willing to take the advice and guidance of her current foster carer who also happens to be an experienced dog trainer. She will need a home with a secure yard as she is tiny enough to slip under fences and is not suited to apartment living. Vogue will need to be allowed inside the home to spend time with her new owner(s) and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep in at night (maybe yours?). This little girl may not be perfect, but she is well worth the patience for her to come out of her shell. Vogue will give the love back ten-fold and many people have become very attached to her.
If you would like to give this beautiful little girl a home of her very own, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle you can offer Vogue.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
