Meet Star !
Star by name , Star by Nature…

Star is a 6 year old grey/black toy poodle who is just longing for her very own human
that she can train up to be her lifelong partner.

She has the most beautiful nature – and would give you kisses 24/7 if you let her.
Star craves the love and attention of her humans – and will follow you around all day,
ever hopeful of that pick up, or cuddle. She snuggles into your side or on your knee
effortlessly, like she has always been a part of you.

She loves a gentle play – and excitedly chases her stuffed toys when they are
thrown for her – then she will happily throw them around herself or sit and chew
gently on their ears. She is toilet trained, travels well in the car, knows several
commands and is overall a very good girl.

She does suffer some separation anxiety – usually triggered when her human is
leaving her behind in the house to go out. She barks a little as she anticipates that
you might be leaving – and for a minute or so after you have gone out the door. Then
she will settle down in her fluffy bed, or on the couch, or wherever she is allowed –
and wait patiently for your return. Ideally she would like her humans home a lot.

Star gets on well with our elderly female kelpie and our cat – but really, she just co-
habitates with them – she doesn’t really engage in play with them at all. She will
sleep next to our dog, and share her bed too – but really, she just wants her humans.
So Star would be fine with other gentle, small -medium sized dogs -but probably
prefer to be an only dog with lots of human companionship.

Star has won the hearts of everyone who has visited us whilst in our care – and is in
her element hopping from lap to lap and getting lots of love and attention.
She would be best suited to a quiet household ( no young children) as extra noises
and sudden movements startle her a little, and can make her anxious.

She has an endless supply of love and cuddles to give, and just needs to find that
special human that will make her the “Star” of their lives.
