We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Misty sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Misty—a dazzling pure white beauty with one brilliant blue eye and one vibrant green. Her stunning looks are only the beginning of her charm; Misty is as warm and affectionate as she is striking.
This social butterfly adores people, greeting everyone—familiar or new—with enthusiasm and love. She’s the perfect mix of playful and independent, with a knack for making you feel like her favourite person in the world.
Her ideal home is calm but lively, with humans who are around often to share in her playful antics and shower her with love. Misty’s snowy coat means she’s strictly an indoor-only kitty, and she’ll thrive in an environment that celebrates her unique personality and devotion.
Misty’s favourite things include food (and more food!), wand toys, and, of course, endless pets. She’ll gently nudge your hands back to her head or chin if you dare stop the love fest, and her cheeky attempts to snag a snack from your plate are guaranteed to make you smile.
While Misty has lived with other cats before, she’s made it clear she’d rather be the queen of her castle. A patient, cat-savvy family might help her adjust to feline companions, but she’d truly shine in a home where she’s the sole recipient of your affection.

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
