Hello my soon to be paw-rents! My name is Cherry and I’m the sweetest cutie patootie searching for a place to call my forever home!

I came into foster care with the Angels a short time ago with my two babies after we were found on the streets. Hard to believe I was a Mum, right? I’m just a baby myself!

Nature
My Foster Mummy tells me what a gorgeous girl I am! I have so much affection and love to give to my humans. I LOVE to spend all day smooching and head booping my Foster Mummy, and following her around the house. In the evenings I like to snuggle up with her on the couch for more pats and attention whilst I purr my little heart out and make biscuits! I think I’d love it if my family worked from home or were home more often than not.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I am currently in foster care with a few resident cats. Initially I wasn’t too sure about them but I think I was still in “Mum” mode. I am starting to get used to them now and I actually think I quite like their company. I’d also be fine as an only cat if you’re home more often than not to keep me company!

I haven’t met any dogs yet and I’m not really sure how I’d go. With a cat-savvy pooch and very slow introductions I may learn to like them.

I love people and attention so I think I’d be great with kids! Although I do think older kids would be best as sometimes I get really playful with my claws out without realising! I don’t want to accidentally hurt any little ones!

Likes / Dislikes
Did I mention I love attention? My Foster Mum says I am just ridiculous because I flop and roll and do anything to get more pats! I have recently started playing and love that little mouse toy that I can chase around, it’s super fun!

I much prefer my biccies rather than wet food. I have biscuits and fresh water available 24/7, and wet food at dinner time.

I am perfectly litter trained, so big tick for me there! ✅

As for dislikes, I don’t think I have any! I love everyone and everything!

My PURR-fect home would be with a loving human or family who can spoil me and give me lots of love and attention. I am really quite liking the life of the indoors now and would love to keep it that way, although access to a secure fully enclosed cat run would be pawesome but not essential. I’d really love a home with humans that are home more often than not, but it’s not a deal breaker!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.

Medical Notes: It is suspected that Cherry may have previously had a UTI prior to arriving in foster care. She has not shown any signs or symptoms of urinary issues whilst in care. Cherry will need to be monitored for any signs of difficulty urinating, or blood in her urine. She may or may not require sporadic treatment for UTIs throughout her life, which may involve antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.
