About 🎭Villanelle🎭
Villanelle is a senior girl who still has a playful side. She loves to play with toys when she’s not sunning herself in a window or having a nap somewhere cosy. She’s also a big fan of catnip toys and will roll around with them in absolute bliss! Much like her namesake, Villanelle does have a flair for the dramatic and will announce clearly if you do something she doesn't approve of. Apart from this, she’s not an overly chatty cat but does have a fantastic purr.
Villanelle is still on the skinny side, despite putting on some much-needed weight while in care, but we will provide a list of her favourite foods to keep her weight going in the right direction. Villanelle is looking for a quiet, mature retirement home where she can get in plenty of lap time and generally live a quiet life. She would like to be the only pet in her forever home so she can have all the attention to herself and not be bothered by other animals.
Villanelle arrived in care having been shaved due to matting and with her tail inexplicably fused solid in place which caused her lots of issues. She has now had the bulk of her tail removed and this has made life much easier for her. She will need regular brushing as her coat grows back in and will likely need the odd tidy up as seniors often do.
Villanelle is a very special girl, looking for an equally special home that will lavish her will all the love and attention she wants and help her maintain her health in her senior years.
She is of course, desexed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments. Villanelle is in care in Highett and is looking for a home in or around Melbourne.
Medical notes
Villanelle has had the majority of her tail removed. This does not cause any ongoing issues.
