About Murray
Murray is a sweet and gentle boy who could just be your new best mate!
Murray's foster family describe him as dorky, loveable, gentle and just a little bit clumsy. While he's not a super active boy he does gallop around the yard most days. He has short bursts of very animated and excited zooms and when he's done, will collapse on the grass for a sunbake.
He is an affectionate boy who leans in for big cuddles and will gaze up at you with a big, loveable grin. Murray loves cuddles so much he will gently paw at you for more pats.
Murray has mastered walking on the lead and enjoys being out and about taking in all the sniffs. Murray doesn't seem to be particularly interested in other dogs on walks, mostly ignoring them.
He is used to having someone around more often than not and would be best suited to a home with someone who is around often so he can lap up all of that attention. Murray is currently an only dog and hasn't been tested living with other dogs or animals. He would likely be suited to a home with a calm female greyhound. Murray would love a forever home with a yard so he can keep up his routine of daily zoomies and playing chasey with his humans.

STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
