On Hold
About Walter - 14 Month Old Labrador (Trial 22/12)
Meet the handsome Walter, a 14 month old male Labrador with nothing but love and licks to give.
Walter has the typical Labrador personality eat, sleep, play repeat. Walter is a big sweetheart who loves a snuggle and spend quality time with his people.
Walter has been in care with shift workers and male Labrador foster brothers. Walter would suit a home with someone who works part time with another medium / large breed young dog to match his energy and keep him company.
Walter loves to walk and go on new adventures, we have been practicing our walking on the lead, but will need someone who is prepared to continue this training as he is a strong boy. When at home Walter loves playing fetch in the back yard … we are just working on the bring it back and drop it part of the game!
As Walter is still working on his manners, he would be suited to a family with children over 10 as he tends to jump when excited.
Walter is crate trained, which he sleeps in overnight. He’s house trained and is learning how to use a doggy door to let himself in and out.
Walter knows basic commands, and sits and waits for his meals to be served. Being so food orientated is defitniely assisting Walter with his training.
If you can open your hearts and home to Walter he will return the favour with an abundance of love.
