About Ruby & Cinnamon
Meet Ruby & Cinnamon: A Bonded Pair of Chihuahuas Looking for Their Forever Home!
Ruby & Cinnamon are a sweet and loving bonded pair who are looking for a forever home where they can stay together.
Though they have different personalities, their connection is undeniable, and they thrive best when they’re by each other's side.
If you're ready to give these two adorable Chihuahuas the love and attention they deserve, they’ll make wonderful, loyal companions.
Cinnamon:
Cinnamon is a 6 year and 2 month old Chihuahua
Cinnamon is the social butterfly of the pair! She loves being around people and is always excited to greet you when you come home.
Cinnamon weighs 2.9kg
A true "people dog," Cinnamon will follow you around like a little shadow, always by your side.
She's not a barker, but she loves to chat with soft little sounds as if she’s trying to tell you all about her day.
While she's outgoing, she’s also gentle and calm, and she’ll happily curl up with you once the excitement of the day winds down.
Ruby:
Ruby is a 8 year and 4 month old Chihuahua
Ruby is a bit more reserved and takes a little time to warm up to new people. Once she’s comfortable, she’s incredibly affectionate and will snuggle up on your lap, especially during thunderstorms when she finds comfort in your presence.
Ruby weighs 2.5kg
Ruby hardly barks— she’s a quiet little girl who appreciates the simple pleasures of life, like being close to the ones she loves.
It may take Ruby a little longer to trust, but once she does, she’s a loyal and loving companion.
Why They’re Special:
Ruby and Cinnamon may have different personalities, but they complement each other perfectly. Cinnamon is the affectionate and outgoing one, while Ruby is the gentle, quieter companion. Together, they are a dynamic duo who will bring warmth and companionship into your life.
One of their favourite activities is chasing bugs when the sun goes down, a little ritual they both enjoy together! They’re also both big fans of napping and can sleep just about anywhere you let them—though they have a special fondness for curling up behind a couch if they can manage to sneak in there. It’s their cozy little hideaway!
Ideal Home:
Ruby and Cinnamon are looking for a calm and loving environment where they can continue to be the inseparable pair they are.
They’re both very low-maintenance and would do well in a quieter home, perhaps with someone who works from home or has the time to give them the attention they crave.
They are not barkers and are content to follow you around or quietly rest in your lap.
Because they are a bonded pair, it’s important that they are adopted together.
They’ll thrive in a home where they are the main focus, and where they can continue to enjoy the simple pleasures of life—being together, lounging, and exploring.
Ruby and Cinnamon are dog friendly and currently live with a French Bulldog - however would be more then happy just being the dynamic duo in the home.
Ruby and Cinnamon are not tested on cats
Both girls are toilet trained
Both girls are currently living with some teenagers and they are happy with that - while they are child friendly they would prefer a home with kids at least over 10 years of age.
If you are looking for two gentle and affectionate companions and can offer a warm home, comfortable beds and plenty of love then please send through an adoption application. Ruby and Cinnamon are waiting!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
