Hi my name is Oscar and I'm looking for my furever home - could that be with you please?
I am a 10 month and 3 week old Pugalier and I am ready for a life of adventure and fun and then cuddle time!
My foster mum says that I am a young fun happy go luck boy who is ready for my furever home and ready to really start my life adventures!
I have come into care due to a private surrender.
I have been living with other small breeds and absolutely love playing with other dogs and snuggling up to them and just been a fun loving pup!
I make friends quickly with anyone i meet and love life!
I love playing out in the yard with my foster sibling and my foster mum says I’m a very sweet, happy and confident boy.
I absolutely love my humans, and having a cuddle on the couch.
I would love a home with another dog that wants to play with me - tug of war is my favorite game!
I love being around my humans as well so would love a home where someone is a homebody or works from home etc. Just think how much fun we can have together!
While I am great with other dogs for play time etc I do hover my food so quickly that I need to be fed separately just so that there is not chaos at dinner time.
I am great with kids and absolutely love playing with them
I love to go for a walk, I'm still working on my excitement when it comes to walk time but at least I will make you laugh at my excitement.
I am not cat tested but I would probably want to play with them and make them my bff.
I love to sleep with one of my humans so would love that to continue. And when i want i am calm and quiet and snuggly!
My foster mum says I’m very intelligent and if my foster family continues with the training that the rescue has started with me that would be great. They say I’m very food motivated so that really helps with my training and I love to be rewarded with a treat!
I would happily learn more commands and some tricks if you want – the yummy treats and cuddles help me learn real quick!
I’ve got the toilet training thing down pat but maybe going to a new home I might get lost on my way outside or distracted by something shiny so I'm needing a family who will understand that I'm still only young and learning and may have an accident or two while I figure out my new routine

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
