About Shadow
Meet the lovely Shadow…
This beautiful girl loves company and is always eager to be near you, she prefers to be inside lounging around rather than outside and doesn’t need the company of other dogs. She does get on fine with them after slow introductions but is a bit impulsive and tends to try and rush the meeting process.
She is also a work in progress out and about and needs an experienced person walking her as she can get very excitable seeing other dogs and can go into protective mode meeting new people which can come across as intimidating, once she’s met you though she’s super friendly. She is definitely not suited for novice dog owners, having said that, she is improving and consistent, ongoing training will see her flourish into the well behaved social companion you’ve always dreamed of.
Shadow is not all hard work though, she sits, drops, mostly waits, she knows stay but chooses not too at times and has good recall skills, to be perfected of course. She is toilet & crate trained, not destructive at all inside or outside and she loves a ride in the car.
Shadow is good with children but supervision is always essential, particularly if the children are younger.
Shadow is untested with cats or pocket pets but as her carer I would suggest she’s not suitable. She also had a recent stay on a property and did not cope at all meeting cattle so hobby farm/farm properties are sadly not an option for her.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
