About Hawk
Meet Hawk!
Hawk is a special boy. He bonds closely to his primary carer but it takes time to earn his trust. He is interactive and chatty and enjoys being part of the family but has got some underlining anxiety which causes him to be fearful of new places and people. He has had some poor experiences going into carriers and likely will need some carrier training and may do better with a soft carrier that is more bed like. He can get quite stressed in the car so will need some time to decompress in a safe room once home.
Although Hawk is stunning he will need a special home that understand his needs and will give him the time to adjust and try to make the experience minimally stressful. He benefits from considered approaches, consent and choice and a calm quiet environment. Although Hawk is cat social and benefits from having feline friends to learn from he can be a bit full much for some cat and will need slow intros and his initial interactions monitored. This beautiful boy is best suited to an adult/older teen home.
Hawk is a delight to have in the home for the right person. Come and meet him at RSPCA Peninsula.
