About Billy
Billy is a loving, respectful, and energetic Border Collie who thrives on connection and will brighten your days with his joyful spirit. He adores his humans, makes friends with every dog he meets, and loves nothing more than being part of the family.
Personality:
Billy can be a little timid and struggles with separation anxiety, but his love for life is undeniable. He greets you with pure excitement, especially when you come home or it’s mealtime! He’s a natural herder and enjoys rounding up other dogs, though he’s still working on his recall—especially at the beach, his favorite place. Despite his energy, Billy is just as happy to relax and hang out with his people.
Billy’s Favorites;
The Beach: He loves running free but needs help with recall.
Car Rides: He’s always ready to hop in and go on an adventure.
Bird Watching: Chasing and barking at birds is one of his favorite activities.
Crate Time: He finds comfort in his crate and puts himself to bed at night.
Billy is a quick learner and already knows how to:
Sit and wait patiently for his food.
Sleep peacefully in his crate.
Needs to work on managing his excitement and not jumping on people.
He’s still learning to share food with other pets and needs continued support with recall and separation anxiety.
Billy is looking for a loving, patient home that will:
Continue his training and build his confidence.
Provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
Manage food and resources to avoid conflicts with other pets.
Embrace his love for adventures, the outdoors, and car rides.
Billy is a smart, affectionate dog who just needs a little guidance to thrive. If you’re ready for a loyal, joyful companion, Billy is waiting to meet you!
