About Alice *On Trial*
*alice is currently trialling her new home* i'm lost and need a new home. . . . Could you help me please?
meet sweet alice, she appears to have lost her wonderland and never wants to go back to that mad hatter’s tea party they call the pound, she would much prefer to live in a magical forever home where she can be loved unconditionally – could that be with you???
lucky for this alice sarg were waiting to catch her before she fell through the rabbit hole and now she’s safe in care. Alice has a delightful, cheeky personality and is a real smoochy girl who just wants to please you. Since arriving in foster care alice has been working on “sit” and “down” and how to walk on a lead as we don’t think she’d had much training in her previous life and is responding well to it. She is house trained and enjoys a cuddle on the couch at night. This super sweet, girl really loves other dogs and gets along well with them as well as humans of all shapes and sizes. Alice isn’t a barker and is happy to share her food or bones with other dogs; there’s no food guarding for this gentle girl. Her carer, who’s a vet nurse, reckons alice’s age is closer to 12 months than 18 months as she’s still quite puppyish and inquisitive. . . . . . . . . “curiouser and curiouser” as the story goes!
from her carer:
favourite pastimes: sleeping, wrestling and running around with other dogs or snuggling on the couch!
favourite toy: a rope with a ball on the end (she likes chewing the rope bit)
favourite food: liver treats
best friend: her carers dog timmy the cattle dog as they love wrestling and romping around together!
alice would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with a playful doggie companion to keep her company or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time during her settling in period. A secure yard, daily walks, ongoing obedience training, bones to chew on and toys to keep her stimulated would make alice very happy indeed!
