Nature
I am a very handsome ginger and white boy! My Foster Mum says I am so beautiful to look at. I came into care after ending up in the pound with no one claiming me. I was so, so frightened that I would hide under a blanket all day! Now I sleep up on the couch for all to see!

It will take me a while to gain confidence with a new family but once I’m comfortable, I’ll be wanting pats constantly! I even go through my Foster Mum’s legs and roll over because I need a pat. Just have patience, give me time and my own space for a while and you will see how affectionate and lovable I really am. I love scritches around my ears and under the neck and even a good scratch near the tail. I’m still not too sure about you touching my beautiful tail but I certainly love a nice gentle brush. I’m quite vocal so will tell you when I’ve had enough. I don’t use my claws at all so you’re safe there.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be fine with another gentle cat. I’m always trying to get the other cats in the house to play with me but they’re not interested.

I have never met a dog but the dog next door barks all day and it doesn’t faze me.

I don’t think I’d be good with young children, older children should be fine. I don’t like sudden, loud noises but will come out of hiding quite quickly.

Likes / Dislikes
I will sometimes sleep on the floor next to my Foster Mum’s bed but haven’t quite got the courage to jump on the bed just yet. I like to have wet food twice a day and biscuits to nibble on throughout the day. I prefer chicken meals but have been known to eat “fresh” fish. I am not a greedy eater and don’t even ask for treats. I am a super tidy boy with my litter tray.

Sudden loud noises will make me hide but not for long. I prefer all four paws on the ground, paw-lease!

My PURR-fect home would be in a home with adults or older children. Another companion would be fine to keep me company. I will need my own space at first but once I gain confidence you’ll see how lovable I really am. I will need to always be an indoor cat, be careful not to let me out as I was a “runaway“. If you have a secure cat run, that would be amazing.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
